Dunlop Builders already had a strong healthand safety culture, but several core processes were still manual. Incidentreporting could be delayed, paper forms could be misplaced, and the office teamdid not always have a clear view of what was happening across sites.
Operations Manager, Jess Nuttridge said oneof the biggest frustrations was the gap between what happened on-site and whatreached the office. In some cases, the first sign of an issue came later through an ACC claim rather than through an internal report.
Weekly site audits created a similar challenge. Audits were completed, though findings were harder to surface quickly and follow through consistently. Contractor compliance also added admin pressure, with spreadsheets, forms, and document requests all managed manually.
For a busy construction business, thatmeant time spent chasing paperwork instead of focusing on safety actions andoperational follow-up.
